This is your Admin area or Control Panel. It's from here you manage your PetSite.

Click "Manage categories" in the left main menu. You need to make up and add your categories for your photos. Make up a category name and type it in the "Category" field. Next type your text in the Description field. These words will appear on your PetSite's list of categories page.

Now add a photo you would like to display for this category - click "Browse" at the right of "Category Image" and select a photo from your files.

Click "Save Changes" and this category and photo is now added to your list of your PetSite categories. It now appears in the top Existing Categories box. You can add more categories by repeating STEP 2.

To delete a category from the list you create, click on the category in the top "Existing Categories" box that you want to delete, then click "Delete Category" at the bottom of the page.

Now add your photos to your categories. A category you have set up will not appear in your website gallery unless you have added a photo to the category.

Click "Add images" in the left main menu. Use the "Browse" button for your "Image" and "Thumbnail image" to select your photos from your files (the same image can be used for both). Type in a brief description for the photo in the "Caption" field. Now select what category you want this photo to appear in from the "Image category" drop down field.

You can upload up to 5 photos at a time to your gallery. Just add them to the page.

When you're ready to upload the photos to your PetSite, click "Add images" at the bottom of the page. A successful upload message will appear once complete.

Click "Manage images" in the left main menu. Select a category from the drop down field and click "Go to Category".

Here you can select how to display each photo within your categories. Click the relevant box to check or uncheck your choices. The "feature" box when ticked displays that photo on your PetSite Home page. Only 4 thumbnail photos will be displayed on your Home page even if you tick more than 4 boxes. Tick the "main" box to display that photo as the large photo on your Home page. You can delete an individual photo from your gallery by checking the "delete" box.

DON'T FORGET to click "update" at the bottom of the page to save your selections.

Click on "Edit home page" in the left main menu. Select the home page from the Edit Page field, add or change your text, then click "Save Changes".

Click on "Edit blogs" in the left main menu. Give your blog a title and a date. Type in what you want to say and click "Add Blog". To delete a blog, select the blog from the list in the top "Edit Blog" box and then click "Delete Blog" at the bottom of the page. To edit a blog, just select it from the top box, make your changes and click "Add Blog" again.

Click on "Site settings" in the left main menu. Choose what banner you want from the drop down box, then click the foreground and background colour palettes and select what colour you would like your site to be. Or type a particular colour code into the field that you wish to display. Then click "Save Settings" and your new colour choices will appear on your site.

You can renew your PetSite hosting at any time for what ever period you choose. Just Click on "Renew membership" in the left main menu, fill in your details and click "Renew". Your payment will be processed through our secure encrypted gateway and you will be emailed a tax invoice.

Click "Logout" in the left main menu to exit your admin area.
